摘要：A swaging tool (1) whereby a collar fitted to the pintail side of a fastening pin inwhich the pinhead of the fastening pin is positioned at one plate member and the pintailof the fastening pin is positioned at another plate member is crimped to the fastening pin

while pressed against the other plate member, and a tensile load is applied to the pintailto break off the pintail and fasten the pair of plate members together, wherein: theswaging tool (1) is provided with a holding member (12) for holding the pintail of thefastening pin, a swaging die (11) pressed against the collar and provided with a crimpinghole (19) for crimping the collar, and a stroke mechanism (13) for expanding andcontracting the space between the swaging die (11) and the holding member (12); andthe stroke mechanism (13) has a rotating rotary member (25), converts the rotarymovement of the rotary member (25) to the expanding and contracting action of thespace between the holding member (12) and the swaging die (11), and restricts therotation of the swaging die (11) and the holding member (12).
