摘要：An electronic device (A') has setting data in binary format formulated accordingto a specific format suitable to realize a function in the device (A') and can set a conditionof the electronic device (A') using the setting data in binary format so as to realize the

function in the device (A'). In order to share the setting data in binary format with anotherdevice, the electronic device (A') converts the setting data in binary format to settingdata in text format and transmits (uploads) a set of text data containing the convertedsetting data in text format to a network communication service provided on a server (B)through a communication network (X). The network communication service may be aconventional communication service of a web site capable of handling text data. Anotherelectronic device can access the network communication service through communicationnetwork (X), receive (download) the set of text data, and then reversely convert thesetting data in text format contained the received set of text data to the original settingdata in binary format.
