摘要：In a transmission device, an image signal and an audio signal are played back at aspeed which is n times normal speed from a recording medium and the played back

image signal is encoded (20). The played back audio signal is sampled (23) using a

sampling clock signal of a sampling frequency which is proportional to the speed which isn times normal speed. When n > 1, 1/n items of sampling data of the sampling datagenerated by sampling are encoded (25). When n < 1, all of the sampling data generatedby sampling are encoded. The encoded image signal and encoded audio signal are thentransmitted to a terminal device.
