二.教材分析:
这是U8 It must belong to Carla的第五课时,是有关于世界著名的未解奥秘之一的英国的巨石阵Stonehenge。继续学习有关本单元的功能结构must/might/could/can’t等情态动词的推测用法。 要求学生通过文本的细节理解,尝试自己解读文本,找出巨石阵的神秘之处,以及文中对巨石阵用处的各项推测。本篇是关于巨石阵的说明文,涉及英国文化,学习一些含有连接词的复杂句子,需要引导学生在上下文语境中体会语言表达的确切含义。活动2a要求学生体验连接词的运用,为2b的阅读活动扫除障碍。2d要求学生在理解2a连接词的基础上
三.教学目标
1.Knowledge aims: master the following vocabularies:
express receive medical purpose prevent energy victory enemy period not only---but also等单词和短语简单介绍巨石阵。
2. Ability aims:通过图片、标题和语境猜测生词的意思;通过关联词和短语的学习归纳,学习一些含有连接词的复杂句子;通过本课的学习,能提高阅读技能;能使学生简单的讲述有关巨石阵 的传说片段。
3. Moral ability:激发学生阅读兴趣,同时引导学生在阅读时要注意体会其他国家的文化以及激发学生探索奥秘的理想。
