摘要：An automated tubular running tool for use in drilling systems and the likeallows for the picking up, positioning, stabbing and threadedly connecting a tubularsegment to a tubular string being held by the rig by a spider. The tool comprises apivoting arm, which can pickup, position, stab and threadedly connect the tubularsegment. The tool further features an integral elevator, which then lowers the pipingstring tubing string into the well bore. This tubular running tool allows for theconnection of tubular segments to a tubular string without the need of personnel.
