摘要：1427276 Producing dimensionally heat unstable articles AMP Inc 5 Feb 1974 [2March 1973] 05160/74 Heading B5A [Also in Divisions F2 and C3] A method of making aheat shrinkable tube from an ionomer, the tube having an outer surface which is cross-linked and non-fusible and an inner surface which is not cross-linked and is fusible,comprises moulding (e.g. by extrusion) the tube, closing the ends of the tube, immersingthe closed tube in a solution of a cross-linking agent so that the agent penetrates a layerof the ionomer, removing the closed tube from the solution and heating it to cross linkthe penetrated layer, the tube being deformed by expanding whilst hot and cooled whilein the deformed state, and opening the ends of the closed tube to produce the desiredheat shrinkable tube.
