摘要：A method is provided for transmitting information from a user to a firstnetwork entity over a communications network. The user enters information into abrowser executed at a user terminal. The browser generates a first message comprisingthe information using a first communication protocol for despatch over the network via anetwork port, the first message including an identifier of the first network entity. A clientexecuted at the user terminal receives the first message before the first messagereaches the network port. The first message is wrapped in a second message of a secondcommunication protocol used for transmitting messages between the client and asecond network entity. The second message is transmitted to the second network entityover the communications network. The first message is unwrapped from the secondmessage at the second network entity, the identifier of the first network entitytranslated to a network address of the first network entity and the first message istransmitted to the first network entity over the communications network.
