Volvo quick fit

The Volvo quick fit is a proven, durable andreliable system, which will give operatorsthe added versatility they demand intoday’s excavator. To be able to quicklyrelease and drop one bucket and installanother one without leaving the cab is aconsiderable advantage over a direct-fitstyle bucket. Once the control switches inthe cab are activated, a hydraulic cylinderextends a locking wedge under the hookon the bucket and securely holds the

bucket in place. This cylinder is also underconstant pressure, so that as the operatorworks, the bucket actually gets tighter,instead of looser, like the competitions.The lifting hook is also mounted on thequick fit and not the bucket, so theoperator can just drop the bucket andimmediately gain the weight of the bucketin lift capacity. Plus, he has greater visibilitywhile performing lifting operations.
