get in touch with与……有(或进行、保持等)联系,相当于be /keep/stay in touch with。 lose touch with sb/sth与某人失去联系 如:

I’ve lost touch with all my old friends. 我与所有老朋友都失去了联系。

2.I’ll think about how to organize the food festival .(P53)我会考虑怎样组织这个美食节。 “连接副(代)词+不定时”一道构成介词宾语(介词有about,on等)。句中how to organize the food festival是about的宾语。如:

He wrote a book on how to protect the invironment.他写一本关于环保的书。

“连接副(代)词+不定时”也常做动词(如tell,advise,show,disscuss等)的宾语。 He’ll advise you what to do .他会建议你做什么。

She didn’t know how to answer it .他不知道如何回答。 3.What do you think you can do to help the people there?(P54)你认为你可以做些什么去帮助那里的人们。do you think在句中做插入语,其后接宾语从句要用陈述语序;如果去掉do you think 则要恢复为疑问语序What can you do to help the people there?

1.I’m thinking about that.(P55)我正在想这件事。think about/of 思考,考虑,想。如: She lay awake thinking about the money.她躺在那里睡不着,心里想着那笔钱。 I try not to think about him or what he was doing .我尽量不去想他或他在做什么。 think over 意为“认真考虑(某事)”,代词作宾语是放中间。如:

Why don’t you think it over for a while and give me a call in a couple of days.你为何不认真考虑一下,过两天再给我回电话。

2.What’s more ,I’m sure that fried rice and dumplings will be popular.(P55)更为重要的是,我相信炒饭和饺子一定会大受欢迎。what’s more是固定结构,意为“更为重要的是”。 I’m sure that…引导宾语从句。

3.Will you please tell me something about yourself ,your village school and Nigerian children ?(P56) 你愿意给我讲一些有关你自己、你们村的学校和尼日利亚孩子的事情吗? Will you please…?后接动词原形,表示语气委婉地征求对方建议。如: Will you please open the window?可以把窗户打开吗?

而would you like …?后接动词不定时to do,意为“你愿意……?”如: Would you like to go fishing with me? 你愿意和我去钓鱼吗?

3.I’ll send you an e-mail later on ,OK?(P56)稍后给你发电子邮件,好吗?

send 后面跟两个宾语,即,send +sb(人,间接宾语)+sth(物,直接宾语),我们称它为双宾语,这类词还有:give,pass,lend,write,show 等。send sb sth 还可以写成send sth to sb,原句可改为:I’ll send an e-mai to you

但make /buy/draw/sing/get等动词后跟双宾时,则改为make /buy/draw/sing/get sth for sb. 如:Mother draws a picture for him.= Mother draws him a picture.妈妈给他画了一幅画

The school supplies books for /to students.=The school supplies students with books.学校给学生提供书籍。
