Centos Unable to verify the graphical display setup

ERROR: Unable to verify the graphical display setup.
在Linux下安装Oracle时

运行

./runInstaller
报错

ERROR: Unable to verify the graphical display setup. This application requires X display. Make sure that xdpyinfo exist under PATH variable.
No X11 DISPLAY variable was set, but this program performed an operation which requires it.

解决方法：

查了些资料，按照网上的做法：

1.使用root用户执行xhost +操作;

2.直接用oracle用户登陆(不是通过root切换)，然后执行export DISPLAY=本地ip：0.0；

试过多次发现仍然不能解决问题，回过头再看报错：/xdpyinfo，试着执行xdpyinfo：

[oracle@linux-oracle6 ~]$ cd /usr/bin/xdpyinfo

-bash: /usr/bin/xdpyinfo: No such file or directory

发现该命令不存在，开始怀疑是xdpyinfo问题，于是安装xdpyinfo：

[root@linux-oracle6 ~]# yum -y install xdpyinfo

vncserver

root@localhost ~]# vncserver

    New 'localhost:1 (root)' desktop is localhost:1

    Starting applications specified in /root/.vnc/xstartupLog file is /root/.vnc/localhost:1.log

export DISPLAY=localhost:1

xhost +

access control disabled, clients can connect from any host

出现上面提示即可。再次运行

./runInstaller

若是运行上述命令的时候，提示没有vncserver这个命令，则执行：

yum install tigervnc-server 

若是提示没有xhost,则执行：

yum whatprovides "*/xhost"     ----------------------查看是哪些提供了 */xhost

xorg-x11-server-utils-7.7-2.el6.x86_ : X.Org X11 X server utilities ---------------------就是缺少这个包xorg-x11-server-utils-7.7-2.el6.x86_

安装xorg-x11-server-utils-7.7-2.el6.x86_

yum -y install xorg-x11-server-utils-7.7-2.el6.x86_

这样这两个命令就都可以用啦。
